Apunta por ahí, que HBO, Hulu y Amazon vienen con tremendas ofertas durante el mes de septiembre.

¿Se acabó Game of Thrones? No te llores que HBO te tiene cubierto. El 10 de septiembre marca el estreno de su nueva serie The Deuce, creada por David Simon, el hombre detrás de la aclamada The Wire, considerando como uno de los mejores programas de televisión de todos los tiempos.

The Deuce cuenta la historia de la legalización y explosión de la industria de la pornografía en Nueva York durante la década del 70. El reparto incluye a James Franco y Maggie Gyllenhaal, y esta primera temporada durará ocho episodios. Críticos de televisión que ya han tenido la oportunidad de verla están hablando extremadamente bien de ella. No tendrá dragones ni zombies, pero sí promete ser tremendo drama.

Si el cine es lo tuyo, el 16 de septiembre HBO debutará la casi ganadora del Oscar La La Land, un musical moderno protagonizado por Emma Stone y Ryan Gosling. Otros estrenos fílmicos del mes incluyen Hidden Figures y Assassins Creed, así como un concierto de J Balvin.

Para los “noventosos”, Hulu añadirá un paquete de series de los 90 que se hizo famoso en el bloque de TGIF de ABC. Estas incluyen Full House, Family Matters, Hanging With Mr. Cooper y Perfect Strangers, entre otras. Su mayor estreno del mes, sin embargo, es el regreso de Top of the Lake, la aclamada serie de la cineasta Jane Campion que cuenta con las actuaciones de Elisabeth Moss, Gwendoline Christie y Nicole Kidman. La segunda temporada gira en torno a la investigación por parte de la detective “Robin Griffin” (Moss) de una maleta que aparece flotando en la playa con una niña china adentro.

Septiembre verá la adición de los remakes de The Magnificent Seven –protagonizado por Denzel Washington- y Ben-Hur, que a su vez se incluirán en la oferta de los clientes de Amazon, donde la cuarta temporada de la galardonada serie Transparent, estará disponible a partir del 22 de septiembre.
